French captain of Davis Cup: Nadal’s absence “changed everything”

Consistent with NOAA’s view, Spanish captain brugla believes that Nadal’s absence has had a significant impact on the situation in this semi-final.

Xinhua News Agency, Paris, September 11 (reporter Su Bin) the French captain Noah, who is about to lead the team to participate in the semi-finals of the Davis Cup men’s tennis team, said on the 11th that the leader of the Spanish team, the absence of the world’s first Nadal “changed everything”.

The defending champion France will play against Spain at Pierre Morua stadium in Lille this weekend. Nadal, the 17-time Grand Slam singles champion, missed the match due to a knee injury. He helped Spain win the Davis Cup four times in 2004, 2008, 2009 and 2011. Because of the pain caused by knee injury, “King of red earth” chose to withdraw from the competition last week when he fell behind the beautiful grenadine semi-final with Argentine player del Portro.

“As a tennis fan, I’m sorry to see that he can’t compete.” Noah said at the press conference, “as the captain, (I think) his absence changed everything in the game. The lineup will be completely different, especially the preparations. If Nadal goes to war, it almost means Spain can win two points. Now the situation has changed, and we need to adapt to this.”

Vinoras, now ranked 55th in the world, will replace Nadal and enter the Spanish team. Busta, Agut, Fei Lopes and Granollers are also selected together. On behalf of the French team, there are Puye, gasquiat, Parre, Ma Yu and benetou.

Noah admitted that the French team now “has more opportunities”, but at the same time he cautiously believed that “the book strength of the Spanish team is still stronger than ours.”

In line with Noah’s view, Spanish captain brugla believes that Nadal’s absence has had a significant impact on the situation in the semi-final.

“This has changed everything, but this is the case now. We still have the same excellent team.” Brugla said, “We will try our best to fight and see how the result is.”

France won Belgium by 3:2 in last year’s final and won the Davis Cup for the tenth time.
