Yang Ning, deputy director of the State Sports General Administration, read out the decision of the General Administration of Sports on awarding sports medals for outstanding athletes and coaches in 2018. 219 athletes such as Wu Dajing and 146 coaches such as Li Yi won the 2018 Sports Medal of Honor; 361 athletes such as Qu Chunyu and 164 coaches such as Zhang Zhipeng won the 2018 first-class sports medal.
Wu Dajing, Liu Jiayu, Deng Wei, Li Qian, Li Lixi, Yang Jiayu, Wang Jianjiahe, Cao Yuan, Xiao Ruoteng, Dong Dong, Liu Xiaotong, Xiaolong, Zhang Ling, there were 14 representatives of athletes in Shenyang, and 7 representatives of coaches including Lang Ping, Yu Jie, Xu Kuiyuan, Ren Shaofen, Teng Haibin, Chen Bin and Xia Xiaoze accepted the awards on the spot.
