Secretary of State for Transport Jassim Sulaiti of Qatar introduced to Infantino the construction of Qatar’s transportation project for hosting the World Cup. Infantino, accompanied by officials of the Qatar World Cup organizing committee, took the Qatar subway. According to Jassim Sulaiti, the subway project implemented for the World Cup has been completed and will be put into operation in the next few months.
Qatar won the right to host the 2022 World Cup in December 2010, which will be the first World Cup held by countries in the Middle East.
