The ring Central Plains 2018 bicycle race ended on the afternoon of 21st in Longhu Financial Island, Zhengdong New District, Zhengzhou, which is known as the “heart of Central Plains. On October 21, the last stop of the 2018 cycling open in Central Plains and the third Huanlong Lake Cycling Open competed in Longhu carnival in Zhengdong New District. After a day of intense competition, the event ended successfully.
The completion of this event also marks the successful conclusion of the 2018 cycling open in Central Plains, a sports lottery lasting nearly 7 months.
Sports color. The Central Plains Cycling Open is a large-scale self-propelled event sponsored by Henan Provincial Sports Bureau, Henan Provincial Sports Federation, Henan Provincial Cycling Modern pentathlon Sports Management Center, and Henan Cycling Association, which includes professional athletes and large groups, this event is listed as a national B- level event.
The Central Plains Cycling Open began in Xichuan county, Henan province on March 31 this year and ended in Zhengzhou city on October 21. It lasted for more than 200 days in 7 months. After 12 counties and cities in Henan province, more than 60000 people participated, more than 5,000 bicycle professional and amateur athletes participated in the competition, and 12 municipal and county governments participated in the hosting respectively.
Sports color. The Central Plains 2018 cycling open Zhengzhou railway station and the third Huanlong Lake Cycling Open attracted 1,500 players from all over the country, the United States, Russia, Mongolia and other countries and regions to sign up for the competition, thousands of other bicycle enthusiasts participate in the cycling experience.
Zhengzhou competition has set up 6 major groups: National Experience Group, road elite men’s group, mountain bike race boys a grade, mountain bike race men’s Group B, mountain bike race women’s Group A, mountain bike race women’s Group B, gathered many well-known elite teams at home and abroad.
After fierce competition, Li Xin, a player from Hebei giant Hengde trade China team, won the champion of the men’s 80km elite group with a score of 2:03:51.173. He Jiantian, Sunshine cycling team, henan QMX-TREK team players Yu Bao, Changsha Clockwise team Yuan Wei, Heilongjiang Ruibao team picked mountain bike boys a grade, Group B, women’s Group A and Group B Laurel in Guangdong respectively.

The six-kilometer track of the national experience Group connected the four classic landscapes of Longhu Financial Island in Zhengdong New District, Zhengzhou. The starting point of the competition starts from the cross-West Canal Bridge with simple shape and beautiful lines, passing through the masterpiece of “mountain building movement” in Zhengdong New District on the northwest side of Longhu Lake-Fengshan Forest Park with mountains like Phoenix Dance and water like swimming dragon, longhu inner ring tunnel, etc. Some athletes and the masses called this competition “The most beautiful six kilometers”.
